Agriculture and Climate Change
Meridian Institute is a nonprofit NGO internationally recognized for convening and facilitating neutral and independent dialogues and assessments. Since 2010 Meridian has been facilitating international processes focusing on agriculture and climate change intended to help inform discussions at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) process and other relevant fora. In 2011, Meridian assembled a team of expert authors to develop independent, objective analysis of stakeholder-identified issues and questions related to agriculture and climate change. Consultations with UNFCCC negotiators, researchers, civil society and other stakeholders guided the development of the following reports:
The Meridian Institute will be convening working technical sessions on topics like Learning from Experience and Early Innovations as well as informal discussions among key stakeholders on the margins of important international meetings over the next year.
